Duchess Meghan Has Revealed Her Favorite Movie

One of Meghan Markle’s most American thing about her is probably her favorite movie. The American cheerleader movie Bring It On. Seriously Meghan.

This is a cheesy 2000s teen movie, with quite the cast, including the likes of a very young Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford and Gabrielle Union.

In her now discontinued blog The Tig, she often spoke about how much she adored the film.

The movie is about a national champion high school cheerleading team that finds out that their old captain stole their cheer routines from an inner-city school and rival team in their time. Oh, the 2000s. And then both cheerleading teams have to compete in that year’s cheerleading championship.

Meghan has event met a star from the movie, the actress Gabrielle Union, who played the rival cheerleader Isis, at a New York fashion week event for Prada.

Meghan admitted her heart “will always think fondly of her days in the cheerleading guilty pleasure Bring It On”.

She also praised Gabrielle for being “gracious, funny and refreshingly real”.

Gabrielle has also appeared in tons of other movies, such as Bad Boys II, Think Like A Man, 10 Things I Hate About You and Being Mary Jane.

The actress is currently married to former NBA superstar Dwyane Wade and was interviewed by the Duchess for her blog.

From the moment her relationship with Prince Harry started getting serious, she shut down her blog The Tig, named after her favorite wine Tignanello, in April last year.

She signed off after dedicating three years to the blog by thanking her followers for their support.

She wrote: “After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig.

“What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun, and frivolity.”
