Ellen Reveals Who Baby Archie Looks Like After Visiting Harry And Meghan
Archie Harrison may be only four months old, but he is already making some celebrity friends!
On the new season of her talk show, Ellen DeGeneres reveals she had a surprise visit with Harry and Meghan during a trip to the U.K. over the summer. And she had the chance to meet their little boy Archie Harrison!
DeGeneres dished about the special occasion: “Here’s a sentence I thought I’d never say: I spent the afternoon with Prince Harry and Meghan,” she revealed. “And I just want to say it was an honor … for them to meet me.”
“I got to hold little Archie, the baby,” she smiled. “I fed Archie.”
Then she joked about the baby boy: “He weighs 15 lbs., which is, the exchange rate, is 17 dollars here!”
DeGeneres also shared of Archie, “He looks like Harry — and he had more hair than I did at the time.”
Then, Ellen asked the audience whether they like to see a photo of the young royal. And, of course, they cheered.
“I was hoping you’d say no,” she told the crowd. “But I did draw what he looks like, and he looks like Harry.”
The talk show host also revealed that she and wife Portia de Rossi spent time with the couple discussing about conservation work and how the four of them plan to put their collective power together for a good cause.
“Portia and I talked to them about all the conservation they are doing for wildlife.
“They are doing all this work in Botswana for elephants and I love that, and they like what I’m doing for the gorillas in Rwanda so we’re gonna all do something together,” explains Ellen.
DeGeneres also spoke in Harry and Markle’s defense after they were criticized for taking private jets for their vacations around Europe.
“They are amazing. They are the cutest couple and so down-to-earth,” Ellen shared.
“I see them get attacked and it’s not fair,” she continues. “They are just two of the most down-to-earth compassionate people, they’re doing so much good for the world.”
