It looks like Charlize and Statham are the director’s favorite as they both starred in The Italian Job and now in the Fast Eight. Both films directed by Gary Gray. The only difference is that in The Italian Job they starred as protagonists and in this one they star as antagonists.

The movie is filmed in Havana – Cuba, Island and several locations in the United States. It has been suggested that the movie will honor Paul Walker’s wish and will go back to more street racing instead of a lot of special effects and huge action sequences.

While we talk about Paul Walker, we need to mention that Vin Diesel at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards said that Furious 7 was for Paul and Furious 8 will be from Paul. This is because before the tragic passing of Paul, he told Diesel that Furious 8 was guaranteed to be made.
