Harry And Meghan Reportedly Spotted Arriving In Rome For Misha Nonoo’s Wedding
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have allegedly arrived in Rome to attend the wedding of friend MishaNonoo.
Emily Andrews, a royal correspondent, tweeted “eagle Italian eyes tell me that Harry & Meghan were spotted arriving in Rome today for tomorrow’s wedding of the Duchess’ best mate MishaNonoo to US oil tycoon Michael Hess.” According to Andrews, the couple left baby Archie at home.
The designer is marrying her boyfriend Mikey Hess tomorrow in the Italian capital, surrounded by A-listers and royalty.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are also expected to attend, as well as Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, and newlyweds singer Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling.
On the wedding schedule, there’s even a party at Cinecitta, the legendary film studios where incredible directors such as Rossellini, Fellini, De Sica and Visconti filmed.
Misha is one of Meghan’s best friends. It is also believed that she was the one who matched Harry and Meghan. And as Nonoo and Meghan are friends, and Nonoo’s ex-husband Alexander Gilkes is close with Prince Harry, it’s not a far-fetched idea.
Meghan and Nonoo even collaborated on the Smart Works capsule collection that offered classic workwear options for women, including blouses, trousers, blazers, dresses and bags.
After attending the London launch for the collection, Nonoo spoke out about criticism the Sussexes have faced, saying: “I think it’s unjust, and I think that people should really focus on the good work they do. A good example of that is [that] this is her first official engagement after having had her baby, (and) it’s all about empowering women, all about what she has essentially always sought to do.”
“When she goes to Africa with Prince Harry and their new little one, she is going to do some events there on empowering women,” Nonoo said. “She’s really interested in empowering women around the world.”
