On Friday, Princess Eugenie married her longtime boyfriend Jack Brooksbank this morning in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, in a beautiful ceremony.
Among the guests were, of course, Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan. The couples arrived at the same time, albeit in separate Range Rovers, to the ceremony at Windsor Castle.
But, as they entered the chapel, they were actually breaking royal protocol with the order of who was walking in first.
According to family hierarchy, when the Sussex couple attends official events with the Cambridge couple, they should step back and let the future king and his wife proceed first.
However, yesterday, Harry and Meghan opted to skirt that rule and enter the chapel before William and Kate.
It is not a first time for the couple to ignore some protocols and do things in their own way. However, that is one of the reasons why I love them so much.
Even though it was Eugenie’s day, we couldn’t stop looking at the fabulous four too.
The Duchess of Sussex Meghan donned navy from head-to-toe in a Givenchy dress and Noel Stewart hat.
Duchess Kate looked stunning at Princess Eugenie’s. She opted again for a cranberry-colored Alexander McQueen dress and Philip Treacy hat for the occasion.
Both duchesses had the best reaction when they saw Princess Eugenie!
The guests at the wedding couldn’t contain themselves when they saw Princess Eugenie as she walked down the aisle of St. George’s Chapel. And clearly, Kate and Meghan were taken aback by the beauty of the royal bride. Their jaws dropped in an identical expression when they spotted Eugenie.
After the ceremony, the brothers and their wives joined the rest of the royal family with a walkabout Windsor, greeting fans gathered on the streets as they exited the castle.
The last time we saw the couples together was at the Royal Air Force centenary in July. And we hope there will be many more occasions!
