Is Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, Having Twins?

Kate Middleton and Prince William recently announced the arrival of their third baby weeks after confirming that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pregnant. While everyone is busy guessing the gender of the baby, a new rumor appeared that Kate may actually be pregnant with twins.

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby is reportedly a set of identical twins, according to a report from Life & Style. An insider told the publication that the royal couple only recently found out about the twins and that they are excited to share the news with their families and loved ones.

The insider also said that Kate and William were both shocked when they learned they were gonna have twins. However, the Duke of Cambridge expressed concern over his wife once the twins come, she will have much more on her shoulders aside from taking care of their two children- Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The report also notes that the Queen has also been informed about the good news and that she was thrilled about this new addition to the royal family. However, Gossip Cop maintains that Kate and William are not expecting twins, noting an earlier announcement from Kensington.

In the announcement, the palace stated that Kate and William’s third baby is due to arrive April 2018. The publication emphasizes that it was clearly stated as “baby”, not “babies”.

E! News reports that the announcement about the due date of their third baby came right after the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Norway and Sweden in 2018. This is, of course, great news for fans, however, they showed concern about Kate’s busy schedule, and with a baby on the way, will she be able to do all those visits and travels from place to place. It can be recalled that Kate recently suffered from acute morning sickness, causing her to miss out on several visits and events. The Duchess of Cambridge, however, seemed well enough when she made her first appearance since the confirmation of the pregnancy to celebrate World Mental Health Day at Buckingham Palace.
