Royal Wedding: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Married!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now officially husband and wife!

The wedding ceremony had mixed royal protocol with a decidedly unusual moment, with the couple struggling to keep a straight face during an extraordinarily passionate sermon by the Most Reverend Bishop Michael Curry.

The royal couple sealed their vows with a smooch for the cheering public outside St George’s Chapel, in Windsor.

During the service, the emotional groom told Meghan “you look amazing, I missed you” as he saw her in her wedding dress for the first time.

Meghan arrived accompanied by two pageboys who held up her train as she walked the chapel’s steps alone.

She wore wedding dress made by British designer Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy. It is definitely stunning and features long sleeves and a boat neckline. It has been previously reported her dress cost between $500,000 and $600,000.

Her hair was styled in a low bun and is wearing Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, lent to her by The Queen. The diamond bandeau is English and was made in 1932, with the entre brooch dating from 1893. Two pageboys carried her veil which was decorated with flowers representing all 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

Prince Harry’s father, Prince Charles walked the bride down the aisle.

Oprah Winfrey, Victoria and David Beckham, Amal and George Clooney, Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Carey Mulligan, James Corden and James Blunt are just some of the 600 guests in attendance.

Also Meghan’s Suits colleagues were there for her big day.

Harry and Meghan announced their engagement to a flurry of excitement in November 2017, just days after Harry had popped the question over roast chicken.

The couple has come a long way to reach this moment. They first met on a blind date in London, set up by TK, two years ago and instantly connected.

“I think very quickly into that, we said, ‘Well, what are we doing tomorrow? We should meet again,'” Markle shared in their engagement interview.

“We met once, then twice, back-to-back—two dates in London, in the beginning of last July,” Harry added.
