The Palace Announced Meghan And Harry’s First Engagement In 2019

Prince Harry and Meghan are returning to the public eye next week. Kensington Palace announced their first engagement in 2019.

Meghan, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, will join husband Harry in Birkenhead in Merseyside on Monday 14 January.

The couple will visit a number of local organisations which support and empower groups within the community, including Tomorrow’s Women Wirral and Wirral Youth Zone.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Birkenhead on Monday 14th January.

The statement reads: “Their Royal Highnesses will visit a number of local organisations that support and empower groups within the local community, including @TomorrowsWomen and @TheHiveYZ.”

Tomorrow’s Women is an organization that helps women in vulnerable circumstances. It is a cause close to Meghan’s heart.

Before the Duchess married Harry, she served as the UN Women’s Advocate for Women’s Political Participation and Leadership and Meghan has repeatedly spoken on the issue.

The second helps youngsters aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 years old for those with disabilities.

The couple will also meet members of the public in Hamilton Square. They will view a new sculpture marking the 100th anniversary of the death of Birkenhead war poet Wilfred Owen.

This will be Harry and Meghan’s first visit to the borough together.

We can’t wait to see Harry, Meghan and her growing baby bump. Duchess Meghan is due in the spring, with bets on that she will give birth at the end of March.

The last time we saw the Sussexes was  on Christmas Day when they attended the annual church service at St Mary’s Magdalene in Norfolk with the royal family.

It’s also expected that Meghan will pursue patronages in the new year with women’s empowerment at the forefront. According to The Times, Queen Elizabeth II is passing on a patronage to pregnant Duchess Meghan. The Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be announcing her first royal patronages in January or February.
