The Palace Just Shared New Unseen Photo Of Kate
Kate and William are currently enjoying a well-deserved break with their three children. And it will be a while until the public sees them again.
But, on Monday, the Palace pleasantly surprised us by sharing a new, unseen photo of the Duchess of Cambridge.
The beautiful photo shows Kate laughing while holding a camera, dressed in a pale grey dress that featured a striking paisley print. She is sitting next to 9-year-old Josh Evans. It was taken in June when the Duchess joined excited schoolchildren for a photography workshop. Her appearance followed the announcement that she has been named as the new patron of the Royal Photographic Society.
Kate, who is a keen amateur photographer, has succeeded the Queen as the figurehead of the body, which was officially supported by the monarch for 67 years.
The Palace also shared the work of Josh Evans, after he was pictured taking tips from Kate at the event.
The caption reads: “Today is #WorldPhotographyDay when we celebrate the art, craft, science and history of photography. Photography can provide a universal language for anyone to express themselves and release their thoughts and feelings.”

Fantastic work Josh!” The post also included some photos of nature Josh had taken, including one of a daisy and another of a leaf. The palace concluded: “The Duchess has a longstanding interest in photography, and her patronage will further highlight the beneficial impact that art and creativity can have on emotional wellbeing, particularly for children and young people.”
It is well known that Kate has always had an avid interest in photography. Her official profile on the British Royal family’s website notes her love of taking photos: “The Duchess’s enthusiasm for photography saw her taking photographs as part of her role during her time working within Party Pieces, a family company owned and run by her parents.”
Kate has been also widely praised for her photographic portraits of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
