The Reason Why Meghan Was Forced To Leave A New York Restaurant After Only 15 Minutes
Meghan had to leave her lunch at a restaurant in New York City after just 15 minutes on Tuesday. A source told HELLO! that the Duchess of Sussex went out for a bite with former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer at the Flora Bar inside the Met Breuer museum but had to leave shortly afterwards.
They sat at a window table and it’s thought the pair felt it wasn’t private enough – so they instead went to the Surrey Hotel. Later the pair were seen at Café Boulud inside the venue, sitting in the back where it was quieter.
The Duchess has enjoyed the trip to New York to celebrate her baby shower with her 15 closest friends, including Serena Williams, MishaNonoo, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson were all seen with Meghan on Tuesday.
Later in the evening on Tuesday, the Duchess went out for an intimate dinner with Markus, Misha, Jessica, Abigail and Serena. They went at The Polo Bar at around 7 pm and spent around three hours there, chatting and laughing together.
The Duchess and her best friend Jessica have spent some time together over the past several days in New York. On Saturday, the bff went toLadurée in SoHo for macarons and tea. “It was on a Saturday but it was a totally private visit,” a source told HELLO!
The soon-to-be-mother has previously opened up about how much she loves the bakery, calling it a “little slice of Paris in the middle of New York City.” During the trip, Meghan also had multiple shopping trips in the city and is said to have purchased plenty of baby clothes to bring back to the UK.
