The Sweet Thank You Cards For George’s Birthday And Louis’s Christening

William and Kate sent the sweetest thank you cards to fans who wished well for George’s birthday and Louis’s christening.

Royal fan Bradley Donovan-Baird, who goes by the handle @loopycrown3, shared a photo of the cards on Instagram.

Prince George celebrated his 5th birthday on July 22, 2018. The sweet Prince apparently received many, many cards and gifts.

So, his mom and dad sent a postcard with a note that says: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge thank you for writing as you did to Prince George on the occasion of his fifth birthday. This was most thoughtful of you and greatly appreciated.”

The thank you cards features a photo of George, who is usually shy, with a big smile on his face.

The portrait was taken in the garden of Clarence House by photographer Matt Porteous after the christening of George’s baby brother, Prince Louis, on July 9.

So as we said, little Louis was christened on July 9.

William and Kate thanked well-wishers by sending a postcard. And the photo they chose to send is just the cutest. It is the one that shows the baby boy laughing in delight while in his mother’s arms.

The message reads: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were touched that you took the trouble to write on the occasion of the baptism of their son, Prince Louis.

Their Royal Highnesses are so grateful for all the wonderful messages they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.”

This photo was also taken after Louis’ christening in the garden at Clarence House, by Matt Porteous. He is the same photographer who captured Prince George’s third birthday portraits in 2016.

It was originally released on the official Twitter page for Kensington Palace with a caption reading: “The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do.”

Baby Louis was born on April 23, at the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.

We have seen him only a few times. However, we hope that William and Kate will release another official portrait of Louis when he is a few months older. They have done that previously with George and Charlotte.
