The song was released on Rihanna’s 24th birthday in 2012. It topped to 2nd place on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Rihanna performed the song for the first time on May 5, 2012, on Saturday Night Live and the performance started with the original version of “Birthday Cake”.
