Meghan Welcomed A Special Guest To Kensington Palace

On Monday, Duchess Meghan welcomed a special guest to Kensington Palace. The pregnant royal had a not-so-secret meeting with New Zealand’s groundbreaking Prime Minister, Jacinda Arden.

Omid Scobie, a royal correspondent, revealed their meeting on Twitter. He said that the Duchess “was pleased to have the chance to thank the PM for the wonderful hospitality [she and Harry] received from the people of New Zealand last year.”

Harry and Meghan first met the New Zealand Prime Minister during their debut royal tour in 2018.

In fact, they came face to face on a number of events during the trip, including a welcome reception dinner at Government House in Wellington.

The royal couple and Jacinda also attended an engagement at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

At that time, Omid tweeted that Jacinda had told him that: “The Duke and Duchess are both very warm people… They really care about the work they do, they take their service seriously and I have a lot of respect for that.”

Meanwhile, the meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister isn’t the only one Meghan has held this week.

The Duchess also hosted her friend Daniel Martin over the weekend, a makeup artist that did her face for her wedding to Harry.

Daniel took to Instagram and shared a snap of their meal — complete with tea, avocado toast and what might be chocolate truffles.

“Back to our Tig days… Thank you, Meghan, for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!” Daniel wrote.

But, very soon, Meghan will start welcoming her guests to her new home in Windsor.

The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex will be moving into Frogmore Cottage.

According to Rebecca English, a royal correspondent, the couple is planning to cancel the lease on their Cotswold house early and will leave in March 2019.

Kensington Palace released a statement about the matter on November 24.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate early next year as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. The couple has lived at Nottingham Cottage since their engagement last year,” reads the statement.

“Windsor is a very special place for Their Royal Highnesses and they are grateful that their official residence will be on the estate.”

Their new home is particularly special to them, not only because it will be where they raise their first child. It also faces the stunning grounds of the couple’s wedding reception venue, Frogmore House.
