The 36 year old American actor, dancer and former stripper is adding another skill to his list.
No Doubt that Tatum showed his dance moves in the movies. From Step Up to Magic Mike he managed to amaze the audience with his special moves. But recently he showed off with a video of himself playing the piano.
The video Channing Tatum posted on Instagram shows him playing a segment of “Für Elise” – one of Beethoven’s most popular compositions. The actor after two and a half weeks of practicing decided to share on social media how much he learned.
In the video’s description he wrote: “Hahaha! Well, keeping my New Year’s resolution to ‘learn new things’. But teaching myself piano is brutal. Got to get some legit lessons soon. Song is way too hard.”
Probably Tatum finds the sharing of the video as an attempt to publicly shame himself in order to get better. And this is the latest act in his series of self – enhancement. This kind of unexpected challenge isn’t something new for the actor. Last year he showed up in Harvard Business School to take an executive education course. He explained that he had “never considered myself a very smart person, for a lot of reasons.” And the Business School seemed like a great challenge for him.
