George Makes Puddings With The Queen In New Family Photos

Queen Elizabeth and three heirs have joined together to bake one of the nation’s favourite festive treats in new photos released by the Palace. The photos show Her Majesty,Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George making Christmas puddings as part of the launch of The Royal British Legion’s ‘Together at Christmas’; an initiative to provide extra support to the Armed Forces community around the holidays.

The young Prince can be seen working hard to stir the pudding while William, Charles and the Queen watch him lovingly.

The photos were taken by Chris Jackson in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace during the Queen’s Christmas lunch.

These puddings will form part of the 99 puddings distributed across the Legion’s network in time for the Christmas 2020 get togethers, marking the charity’s 99th year.

Footage from the cooking session will be shown in the Queen’s Christmas Broadcast on Christmas Day.

The Palace tweeted:” The Queen, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince George prepared special Christmas puddings which will form part of 99 puddings distributed by @PoppyLegion across the UK and the Commonwealth, as the charity marks its 99th year in 2020.

“The Royal British Legion’s ‘Together at Christmas’ initiative is designed to provide extra support to the Armed Forces and veteran communities at annual festive get togethers across the charity’s network of outreach centres.”

These photos mark the third time the Queen has posed for a photo with the three future kings. The first time the posed was for Prince George’s christening in October 2013; and the second time for the Queen’s 90th birthday in April 2016.
