‘Got’ Star Kit Harington Reveals Who He Thinks Should Sit On The Iron Throne
Season 7 of Game of Thrones is finally here. Kit Harington couldn’t be happier. With the news season now upon us, Harington revealed who he thinks will sit on the iron throne after all the dust settles.
There are three people who have best chances to end up ruling the kingdom, assuming the White Walkers don’t take over, according to Hollywood Life. This includes Harington’s Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner).
Kit has a pretty humble opinion about who deserves to be the ruler.
“Tyrion (Peter Dinklage),” Harington revealed. “He has his head in the right place. He’s also prepared to do bad things to keep people safe. Jon is probably the most moral person, but that’s not the best person to lead.”
Asked about Jon’s romantic life, Kit doesn’t see a woman in Jon’s future. He thinks that his character’s ex-lover, Ygritte, was his one love and Jon won’s pursue another woman ever again.
This does not mean that there won’t happen anything romantic between Jon and Daenerys. It is inescapable for them to meet in near future., having in mind that Jon and Sansa are controlling the northern kingdoms and Daenerys set to wipe out the south.
While we wait to see will end up ruling Westeros, reportedly Harington revealed a few spoilers about Jon’s demeanor this season.
“He has to fight a lot of people within his own ranks,” Harington explained. “Don’t expect to see skippy, fun-loving Jon.”
The actor finished the interview by talking about reuniting with his other sister, Arya (Maisie Williams), and his brother, Bran (Isaac Wright).
“I think he would be worried about Bran, if I’m honest. He last saw Bran when he was a little kid and in a coma. Now, Bran’s seeing s–t. I think it would be intense,” Harington noted.
