Grey’s Anatomy 300th Episode: Reunion Of The Original Cast

We finally made it, and what a journey has it been. It’s actually quite unbelievable that we made it to the 300th episode of this drama filled, steamy, show with the most likable doctors ever. With all that has passed its hard to remember all the heartbreaking moments, the nerve-racking cliffhangers and the touching moments. Luckily for us, the 300th episode will try and pay tribute to everything that has happened and it will be a reunion of some sorts. Despite tons of beloved characters leaving us, we will still get the long-awaited reunion for all our character in a heartfelt episode. Here are some facts that we already know about the upcoming Grey’s Anatomy episode.

1.The title is from a song

If you didn’t realize that the title of the episode is from a song, well now you know. 300# will be bearing the title “Who lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story”, which is a song from the famous play Hamilton.

2.George and Christina will return…sort of

According to Entertainment Weekly, the episode will revolve around an accident that happens at the county fair. Two of the patients who end up in the hospital bears a striking resemblance to Christina George O’Malley and Christina Yang- so much so that Meredith will be shaken and will start to remember all the things they went through. As more and more patients arrive, more memories will be ignited by the ghosts of the past. The promo even gives us a short glimpse at “George” and “Christina”

3.Izzie Stevens will also make a comeback

Before you start imagining a comic book-esque return from the dead, no Katherine Heigl will not waltz in the hospital, all alive and well. Instead, it seems to be the same case as Christina and George. EW has reported that different patients will incite memories of Izzie.

4.It will have more of a happy and lighthearted tone instead of a sad one.

Showrunner Krista Vernoff stated in an interview that the episode will rely heavily on nostalgia. “I have written it as a love letter to the fans who have been watching all 14 years,” she said. She also said, “If there is a feel to the episode, it is nostalgia. And if there is a theme of the episode, it is the ghosts of our past.”

5.We might get to see other characters return as well

While nothing has been confirmed yet, Vernoff already hinted that the characters mentioned above won’t be the only ones who will get a tribute. She actually said, “found a way to pay some small tribute to everyone who has been here before.” That means that everyone one else has a fair chance of appearing also, such as Lexie Grey, Derek Shepherd, Mark Sloan, Callie Torres or even Addison Montgomery. That a lot of memories from the past.

If this is what awaits us for the 300th episode, what should we expect for the 400th, if we get that far? The episode air on November 9th.
