Kate Shared Unseen Photo Of George And Charlotte To Mark Mother’s Day
On Sunday, Prince William and Kate shared four treasured photos to mark Mother’s Day.
Among the photos, shared on their official Instagram account, there is a lovely, unseen photo of William and Kate giving George and Charlotte a piggyback. It was taken in the grounds of their Norfolk country home at the same time as their Christmas card in 2018.
The next photo, shows William and brother Prince Harry, as children, with their late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. After that, follows a photo of Kate as a baby in the arms of her mother, Carole Middleton.
Finally, was a photo of a yellow vase with flowers, which six-year-old Prince George made for his mother.
Sharing the photos, the couple wrote: “To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart – we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Happy Mother’s Day,” followed by a flower emoji.
Prince William and Kate delighted fans for sure with the new photos, as royal fans were quick to comment.
One wrote: “What a beautiful set of pictures. Happy mothers day.” Another added: “This really made me smile but also tugged at the heartstrings. Love to all the mums out there.”
“We need more content like this in this difficult time! thank you. sincerely yours, from Indonesian royal watcher,” a third fan said.
The post was definitely uplifting for many mothers who aren’t able to see their children today due to the coronavirus threat.
Meanwhile, the Queen’s official Instagram account also marked Mother’s Day by sharing a black and white photos of the then princess Elizabeth with her mother Queen Elizabeth, holding on to their hats as they arrived at Westminster Abbey for a wedding, in 1951.
