List Of Every Gift Duchess Kate Has Received From The Royal Family
A Charm Bracelet From The Duchess Of Cornwall
Keeping up with the wedding gift theme, the Duchess of Cornwall gifted Kate a gold link charm bracelet-decorated with some very sweet details. The piece features a gold disc engraved with a C for Catherine and a coronet on one side, and a crown and C for Camilla on the other. A subtle message perhaps?
Sapphire And Diamond Earrings From Prince William
Prince William has time and time again showed his love for his wife, though both his actions and his words, but it seems he is also keeping up with the gift department.
Around the time when the two were supposed to get married in 2011, William gifted Kate with a pair of matching sapphire and diamond earrings, which she then customized into drop earrings and made her debut with them while on tour in Canada.
Green Amethyst Earrings From William
For their first Christmas as a married couple, Prince William surprised his wife with a pair of amethyst earrings from one of her favorite designers, Kiki McDonough. The earrings are surrounded by diamonds and set in 18-carat yellow gold, and Kate wore them for the first time for the church service on Christmas Day in 2011. We only hope Prince William has kept up with this throughout the years.
Her Wedding And Eternity Rings From William
Royal fans know that Kate wears three rings on her wedding ring finger-her engagement ring, a wedding ring and an eternity ring.
Like any other women in the Royal Family, Kate’s wedding ring is made from Welsh gold.
Many fans theorize that the eternity ring she got sometime in 2013 was a ‘push present’ from Prince William after Prince George was born that year.
The Eclipse Diamond Eternity Ring by Annoushka goes for just less of one thousand pounds.
Royal Victorian Order Cross And Sash
This might be the most prestigious gift the Queen has handed to Kate, the Royal Victorian Order sash and star.
Kate was appointed the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order by the Queen for her and Prince William’s eighth wedding anniversary.
The awards under the Royal Victorian Order are made personally by the Queen, and not on the recommendations of Downing Street like many other awards she hands out.
And by all accounts, she deserved it for her eight years of service for the monarchy. Through her service she has championed all kinds of causes, like supporting the early year’s development of children, travelling the Commonwealth on behalf of the Queen and raising awareness about mental health with Prince William and Prince Harry.
The first time we got to see her with the sash was for the State Banquet held in honour of Donald Trump’s visit in 2019.
Kate also wears the Royal Family Order, a yellow ribbon featuring a small portrait of the Queen awarded to members of the Royal Family.
