Prince Harry is reportedly designing an engagement ring for his girlfriend Meghan Markle! The ring is being made from a bracelet that was possesion of his late mother.
The Prince has contracted royal jeweller Harry Collins to create the emerald ring.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in a relationship for a year and rumors are spreading that Prince Harry may be putting a ring on it in the near future.
Harry has intention to propose with an £100,000 cushion set emerald and platinum ring- The Daily Star Sunday reports. They quoted a source as saying the ring is “flashy but not ostentatious.”
Sources say that the Prince wants to marry Meghan sooner in order to ensure his grandfather Prince Philip can be at his big day. The Duke of Edinburgh has been in ill health recently.
It is thought that Harry will break the traditional two-year courtship for royal engagements.
This news comes right after the information that Harry wanted to quit being a royal but stayed for the Queen.
In a recent interview, he made a confession how he “kicked his heels” for years before and considered leaving “The Firm.”
But Harry also he revealed that he is inspired into pursuing a role in charity work by his grandmother, The Queen. She motivated him pursue a role in charity work.
He told the Mail on Sunday : “There was a time I felt I wanted out.
“But then I decided to stay in [The Firm] and work out a role for myself.”
Harry spearheaded a mental health campaign with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and how he tells how passionate he is about his charity work.
“We are incredibly passionate with our charities and they have been chosen because they are on the path shown to me by our mother. I love charity stuff and meeting people”- he added.
The loved-up couple at the moment is spending time apart as Harry jets off to Africa without Meghan.
Harry is staying in a luxurious £350-a-night camp, in Malawi. There he’ll help take care of elephants and move some of them to a region where the resident elephant population has been wiped out.
