Prince William Receives Special Gift For Princess Charlotte During Scotland Trip
Prince William and Kate started their two-day visit of Scotland this Wednesday, with the first day being filled with engagements. This royal visit to the Gorgie side is part of a mental health awareness week program.
Now it’s day two and the visit goes on, as Prince William visited Tynecastle and got a VIP of the stadium. Andrew McKinlay, Hearts Chief Executive, and Chair Ann Budge made the royal feel right at home, presenting the Prince with a personalized gift.
Prince William was given a home shirt with ‘Charlotte 7’ printed on the back, dedicated to his daughter who just turned that age at the start of the month.

The reason for the visit was so that the royal would show his support and see for himself the ‘changing room’ program which is held in The Shed at the Scottish Cup finalists home ground.
Prince William took to Twitter: “At @JamTarts in Scotland, hearing about the innovative football project ‘changing room’ this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek.
“The work of clubs and their community foundations to prioritize mental health among players, staff and fans alike have a meaningful and life-changing impact – something it’s been a pleasure to see first-hand at Tynecastle today.”
The Changing Room project has the goal of encouraging the public to meet up, engage in activities together and start positive conversations about their mental health and wellbeing.
Community group Big Hearts was one of the first clubs in Scotland to run the program, which is available to men aged 30-64. And now it is having its great expansion, with it being rolled out to 19 different clubs across Scotland.
The cause is close to Prince William as he has long created and supported organizations and projects that promote and help out with mental health and wellbeing. His most emphasized areas are high-risk jobs, male-dominated fields and sports, with efforts being made to destigmatize talking about your feelings and mental health among men, and specifically to erase the harmful stereotypes that follow men of all ages, especially athletes.
