Royal Fans Swoon Over One Detail In Cambridge’s Christmas Card
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released their annual royal Christmas card this weekend, but royal fans have focused much of their talking on one particular detail.
We got to see the hotly anticipated picture shared on Instagram, with the simple caption: “Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card.”
Taken during a family trip to Jordan this year, however we’re not sure exactly when, the adorable pic shows Prince William and Kate sitting down with their children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and three-year-old Prince Louis.
The exact detail fans focused on was pointing towards the attire, with the family wearing their best summer clothing. In particular royal fans are saying they haven’t seen Prince William wearing shorts since he was a child!
Flocking to social media royal fans showed their disbelief, with one saying: “The biggest surprise is William in shorts.”
Another agreeing, continued: “I can’t remember the last time I saw his knees.”
“Probably when he was a child! Shorts are usually reserved for royal children,” a dedicated fan responded.
“Prince William in shorts is exactly what I needed today,” said another, and we couldn’t agree more.
Australian fans noticed that perhaps they were on a costal adventure to Sydney, joking:
“I’m sorry, when did the royals do the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk this year.”
The presentation of the card is just the latest in the campaign to bring some holiday cheer by the Cambridges, earlier this week the Duchess of Cambridge hosted a special Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey, sharing a message of hope. Prince Charles and Camilla’s card was very contrasting, rather than on a family holiday, it shows a photo from the Royal Ascot this year, where Charles is helping Camilla put on her face mask.
