Take a sneak peak into the new movie Horse Soldiers as Chris Hemsworth shares behind-the scene photos from the set
Hemsworth shared the photos on Instagram on Wednesday.
Chris Hemsworth acted as a Norse god and as a huntsman. Now he is making the list longer as he plays the role of an army man in his new movie.
Horse Soldiers is an Afghanistan – inspired movie.
The Australian buff star shared on Instagram a few photos that captured behind-the-scenes snaps from the new movie. All dressed up in army uniform, wearing bulletproof vest, camouflage uniform and armed with weapons. The 33 year old actor posed in action.
To complete the full combat look, Chris also had a beard and was wearing a scarf.
Together with Michael Pena and Geoff Stults, who are also starring in the movie in the photo, Chris leans against a desert hut. Pena and Geoff fit perfectly in the scene as they were also wearing army-style clothes. The photo was captioned “Horse soldiers crew”.
In another photo with dustier look to it, the Thor star posed crouched behind the leftover ruins of a wall, with a serious look on his face.
The movie is about a team of Special Forces agents and CIA operatives on their way to destroy the Taliban in Afghanistan after the September 11 2001.
The action is supposed to take place in the Middle East, but the movie is being shot in New Mexico. The shooing of the movie started in December and is going to end in February 2017.
Elsa Pataky is also starring in the movie. In the movie she plays the role of her real life husband’s lover.
Earlier in December she shared unedited still from the movie. The photo shows the couple in a romantic embrace.
The photo was captioned “Day two, Horse and Soldiers shooting with my on and off screen love @chrishemsworth”.
