Two are becoming one! Ricky Martin is getting married!!!
Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef are tying the knot. During Ricky’s last appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show on November 15, he revealed that he proposed to artist Jwan Yosef – his boyfriend of more than a year. 44-year-old Ricky Martin in 2010 publicly announced his status, so that today he can enjoy being in love with his 32-year-old partner Jwan, who met through his talent for art and painting.
The Latin singer shared a story with us about how the engagement took place.
“I proposed,” Ricky said. “I was really nervous, but I got on my knees and I took out the little, not a box, I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying ‘would you marry me’ I said, ‘I got you something!’ Bad. And then he was like, ‘yes.’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you’ and he was like, ‘what is the question?’ ‘Would you marry me?’ That’s it.
He admits he was very nervous, but also sure that he is doing the right thing, having in mind that Jwan gets on well with his children, 8-year-old twins, Valentino and Matteo born by a surrogate mother.
Ricky’s news about the engagement wasn’t the most exciting one. He also announced his new residency in Las Vegas’ Park Theater at Monte Carlo. “I’m really happy. You’re all invited, did I just say that?” – he told the audience.
