Why Prince William And Kate Didn’t Attend Brooklyn Beckham’s Wedding

It seems that Prince William and his wife Kate failed to make the celebrity event of the year, even though they were invited to attend Brooklyn’s wedding day.

Brooklyn Beckham, David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest, tied the knot with Nicola Peltz this Saturday and their star-studded wedding has been making headlines ever since.

The couple held their A-lister packed ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, at Nicola’s father’s £79 million oceanfront property. Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and many many others attended, with one notable omission.

The Beckham clan attended the Cambrides’ wedding in 2011 and according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail ‘David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guest’.

The royal couple, however, weren’t able to attend. According to the insider, they declined the invite, sending a note to the couple ‘wishing them a great deal of joy’ but stating ‘they are unable to attend’.

As to why the royals were unable to attend it remains an unknown. With the Duke and Duchess running on strict schedules and only just having returned from an official 8 day tour of the Caribbean perhaps there just wasn’t enough time to pop over to the US for the weekend.

Either way, Nicola and Brooklyn’s special day certainly seems like one to remember!
