William, Kate And The Kids Seen Attending James Middleton Wedding

James Middleton, Kate’s younger brother, had only his closest family and friends around when he exchanged vows with Alizée Thevene, in a private wedding ceremony.

This weekend Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William traveled to the south of France in order to attend her brother’s secret wedding. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis also tagged along, with their parents taking them to an idyllic rural village in the southeast of the country, where the low-key wedding ceremony was supposed to take place.

It was not initially known whether the Cambridge family would be attending the wedding, be it only William and Kate or being joined with their children, but royal experts quickly revealed that the family of five were there when James Middleton finally tied the knot with his fiancée Alizée Thevene.

James, 34, shared the happy news on Instagram as he posted a photograph of him and his new wife with their adorable dogs on their big day.

Kate’s brother seemed overjoyed, simply beaming in the photographs he shared, declaring his love for Alizée, admitting that he’s the happiest man on the planet after marrying his ‘best friend’.

“Mr & Mrs Middleton. Yesterday I married the love of my life surrounded by family, friends and of course a few dogs in the beautiful village or Bormes-les-Mimosas. Words cannot describe how happy I am,” James wrote in the caption.

Mr Middleton, who is a huge dog lover as well as an ambassador for UK charity Pets As Therapy, gifted the royal couple a cocker spaniel puppy back in January of this year-sometime after the death of their previous dog, Lupo.

This wedding has been long-awaited. The couple has been engaged since October 2019, when James first asked the question.

Back then he also shared the big news on Instagram, revealing some of the details of the whole ordeal. Apparently, the young businessman got down on one knee during a romantic getaway in the Lake District. The reveal was accompanied by a stunning photograph of the two with a scenic landscape behind them.

The initial plan for the wedding was May 2020, but due to the global pandemic, it had to be rescheduled multiple times.

The 34-year-old has previously talked about how he and his girlfriend met, and it is all thanks to his cheeky dog Ella.

“The two of us were at the South Kensington Club in Chelsea. Ella was lying at my feet under the table; realizing she might want some water, I trusted her to take herself over to the water bowl across the terrace,” he told the Telegraph.

“However, she made a beeline for Alizée. Rather embarrassed, I went over to apologize and bring Ella back. But Alizée thought I was the waiter and ordered her drink while continuing to stroke Ella, who at this point was on her back lapping up the attention.

“Little did I know, but I had just met my future wife, all thanks to Ella. If I hadn’t trusted Ella, I wouldn’t have brought her to the South Kensington Club and she wouldn’t have been able to say hi to the woman who became my fiancée.”
