Dad Harry Paid The Perfect Tribute To Archie Harrison
The new dad Harry got the perfect present.
Prince Harry just became a father, as his wife Meghan Markle gave birth to their son on Monday. Unfortunately, the new father had to leave the baby and mother as he travelled to The Netherlands on Thursday to launch the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games 2020.
There he was given a jacket with the word “Daddy” embroidered on the front. Dad Harry looked so proud while wearing the black sport’s top, on it “I am Daddy” spelt out in yellow. It also had the Invictus Games logo stitched on it.
Harry visited the Sportcampus Zuiderpark in The Hague to promote the Games. During the visit hopped on a bike and cycled around the park after joining an archery session in the sports hall. The Duke has always been a patron of the wounded servicemen and women and is a firm believer that they should get all the support and help they can on their path to recovery. He also got a chance to watch a wheelchair basketball training session.
The brand-new dad has been showered with all kinds of congratulations presents during his trip aboard, such as an adorable Invictus Games babygro that he held up and modelled against himself. Dad Harry also unwrapped a gift containing a blue and white baby’s cube toy decorated with rabbits, feigning disappointment when he thought the present was for himself.
The wait for Baby Sussex finally ended on Monday morning, when it was announced that the Duchess of Sussex has given birth, and two days later we got the first glimpse at the new royal family of three. Loving life as a father, Harry said: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy and be able to spend some precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.” Later, asked to show more of their son’s face to the cameras, Meghan laughed as Harry joked: “He’s already got a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful.”
