We have been receiving holiday messages from Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan in the last couple of years, and this year is no exception. They share a holiday greeting from the set of Outlander season 4.

If you look below, you can see the video is filled with a humorous exchange between our two leading roles during a break in filming. It’s quite the interesting, funny Christmas greeting, which is made all the way better with Sam and Caitriona trying to douse one another in champagne(the costume department isn’t gonna be very happy about that). It’s a fun message, but with this, we kind of got a tease for how season 4 will look like. Claire (Balfe) and Jamie (Heughan) are moving from Georgia, where they were at the end of season 3, and will be settling in North Carolina to continue their epic love story. This will show the first time in 4 seasons, that our main cast can finally settle down somewhere, and get the chance to be a little bit less nomadic. That will give them the opportunity to figure out what they want their life to look like.
Filming for season 4 is at the moment on hiatus until early on next year. But be certain that the moment filming starts again and we get more news w will cover it. This season is set to premiere on Starz in late 2018. For now, we hope that the cast and crew are enjoying the long deserved break, and using the break to spend time with their loved ones and family.

Our Christmas message
We just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their kindness, gratitude, feedback, and support for our coverage of Outlander in the last year. The show is one of the best on TV right now and deserves to be covered more in the media. Let’s hope that 2018 will be an even more successful year for the series.
