And Now He Is 5: William And Kate Mark Prince Louis Birthday
Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Kate, turns five years old. To celebrate the birthday, the proud parents released new photos of Prince Louis, taken by photographer Millie Pilkington, taken earlier this month on the Windsor Estate.
One of the photos shows his mother pushing him in a wheelbarrow while he smiles. The photograph shows smiling Louis wearing a blue woolly jumper, shirt and blue shorts while sitting on top of leaves and grass and holding onto the wheelbarrow, asĀ KateĀ laughs
The other photo is a close-up of the happy child sitting in the wheelbarrow.
The Palace captioned the photos: “Someoneās turning 5 tomorrowā¦ A very happy birthday to Prince Louis. “
The release of the photos was met with excitement from royal fans around the world, who have watched Prince Louis grow up in front of their eyes.
Louis came into the world on April 23, 2018, and with his birth, he became fifth in line to the throne, preceded by his older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Prince William and Kate have released photos of Louis every year on his birthday, a tradition they started for Prince George and continued with Princess Charlotte. Usually, it is Kate who takes pictures of the young royals.
For his fourth birthday, Kate showed Louis in a couple of photos barefoot on the beach, running and playing in the sand.
Over the last year, the young prince has taken on a more significant role in royal events, marking several important milestones. He participated in the Trooping the Colour carriage procession, attended the traditional Christmas Day church service for the first time, and made his debut on Easter Sunday.
This was a significant advancement for Louis, who had rarely been seen in public before.
