A private ambulance with a police escort has been seen driving through Windsor, sparking rumours that the Duchess of Sussex has gone into labour.
The ambulance was seen around the front entrance of the royal couples new home at Frogmore Cottage, according to Simon McCoy of the BBC. Tweeting his excitement, he said: “Private ambulance with police escort seen driving through Windsor. #justsaying.” Kensington Palace has denied claims Meghan has already had the child.
The Palace has told Fabulous Digital that Meghan hasn’t given birth as of yet. The Duchess’ supposed due date of April has officially been and gone, and with the arrival of May and the last possible due date for Meghan fans are eagerly expecting the birth of the long-awaited Baby Sussex.
The public is not informed about any details surrounding Meghan pregnancy, as she and her husband Harry decided to keep it under wraps revealing only the slightest details, which didn’t stop fans from theorizing on the baby’s due date or the way of birth that the Duchess will choose.
Speculation that Meghan already gave birth has been flying around since this morning, as Kensington Palace announced that Prince Harry would be jetting off to Europe in less than seven days time. The father-to-be will travel to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games on May 8.
Kensington Palace said: “His Royal Highness will then travel to The Hague to officially launch the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.”
A royal insider said: “He had always planned to go but with the birth of his child due it was not announced in advance in case he was no longer able to attend. He is pleased he is able to attend.”
Should the baby arrive today it will share a birthday with its cousin Princess Charlotte.
