Carole Middleton Has The Sweetest Words For Prince William
Kate’s mom, Carole Middleton, has given a rare insight into her family life and her relationship with her two son-in-laws.
In her first major interview, with Telegraph, Carole praised Prince William, describing him as “lovely”.
She said: ” “I have two lovely sons-in-law and I hope I’ll have a lovely daughter-in-law.”
Apparently, Carole has a close relationship with both William and James, Pippa’s husband. The Middletons are often seen at events with William and Kate, such as Harry and Meghan’s wedding, Louis’ christening, of course.
Carole also recalled her daughter’s wedding to Prince William in 2011 at Westminster Abbey. She said: “Like every mother, I wanted to look my best, make my children proud and enjoy the day. I honestly don’t think I was any more stressed than any other mother of the bride.”
Kate’s mom also opened up to Telegraph about her parenting and how she thinks discipline and routine is what kids need.
She told the Telegraph: “I think one of the most important qualities of a good parent is discipline. That doesn’t mean you’re strict, but routine is vital.
“Maybe structure is a nicer word. You can’t suddenly start teaching them about politeness at 13. You have to do it from the start.”
Middleton reveals her family is “paramount”, adding: “They come first and that will always be the case, even when I have more me time.”
“My biggest fear (as her offspring grew up) was that I’d lose my family, but we’ve stayed close,” she added.
This has been an exciting year for the Middletons. Carole and Michael Middleton welcomed two grandsons, Louis and Pippa’s son Arthur.
Not long ago, Kate’s brother, James, revealed excitement about spending the most magical time of the year with the whole family.
Speaking on Leute Heute, James said he was looking forward to a “family Christmas”, where they will “regroup” over turkey and champagne.
It will definitely be a special Christmas!
