Duchess Kate Spotted Shopping With George And Charlotte In London

On Monday the Duchess of Cambridge took her two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, out for some quality time shopping together before the two of them return to school after the Easter holidays.

Duchess Kate was seen with George and Charlotte at Smiggle on Kings Road in London, with the onlookers being impressed by how well-behaved the two children were.

One person that was present went on Twitter and revealed some more details. He said that both of the Cambridge children had their own budget that they had to stick to, even paying themselves at the checkout for their stuff with their own money. “Just normal well brought up children and a normal parent trying to do the right thing and that’s just lovely!” @lexif1980 added.

It seems that this is one of Duchess Kate’s favourite pastimes with her children, as she has been seen going shopping with her children on multiple occasions in the past. For example, last year before the lockdown, she was seen in Sainsbury in King’s Lynn, located near their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall, with George, 7, and Charlotte, 5, with two-year-old Louis, also joining them this time.

Another onlooker shares his experience seeing the royals: “She was with the children, and she looked lovely. She is absolutely beautiful, and the children were beautiful. They were so well behaved.

“…She was just having a little bit of a walk around. They were looking at the clothes when I saw them. Charlotte was looking at the dresses.”

This shipping trip in London comes just one day before George and Charlotte return to the classrooms at St Thomas’s Battersea on Tuesday.

The death of Prince Philip shook the whole of the royal family. He had a special relationship with every one of the Cambridge family, sharing a special connection with all three of his great-grandchildren. Back in November of last year, the trio presented the Queen and Philip with a handmade card to celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary.

The three Cambridge children were too young to go to the funeral service. So as a way of honouring the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince William and Kate shared previously-unseen photographs of the children with the royal couple, such as one with Prince George, two at the time, in a carriage, with his great-grandfather Prince Philip by his side outside William and Kate’s former home in Norfolk. We are sure that at least Prince George and Princess Charlotte will remember the late Prince fondly from their memories together.
