George, Charlotte And Louis Reaction To William And Kate’s Top Gun Night Out

Prince William and Kate Middleton have become regulars on the red carpet, with the two royals often attending premieres for blockbuster movies, all the while looking absolutely stunning. Who could forget the wonderful throwback dress that Kate wore during the Earthshot Prize Awards last year (we know they had a green carpet but it still counts), or being compared to the best Bond girls when she attended the No Time To Die premiere.

Well, their most recent red carpet appearance comes from last Thursday evening when the two royals stepped out to see the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick. Kate stunned the public with a beautiful black-and-white Bardot dress, while Prince William went with the classic black suit, with loafers embroidered with planes.

This was a solo outing for the royal couple, as they left their three children back at home. With the premiere being on a school night, there was never a high chance of any of the Cambridge children accompanying their parents, but it seems that the three had a pretty adorable reaction to their parents going to the op Gun: Maverick, movie premiere without them.

It was William and Kate themselves who revealed this interesting fact as they talked with people at the premiere. According to a report from Hello!, nine-year-old Alfie Everett-Fletcher spoke with William and the second-in-line to the throne revealed that not only was he a “big fan” of the movie but that his children were “jealous” to miss out.

They went on to say that Alfie’s mother Elise told them, “He said they have had the theme tune for the film playing with their kids.”

And that wasn’t the only mention of the Cambridge children, as Kate also said something similar to her husband as she spoke with eleven-year-old Poppy Saunders. She was the one who presented the Duchess of Cambridge with a stunning bouquet. “I gave the flowers and shook hands and she said ‘hello Poppy’.

“She said a lot about how the kids love the film as well,” Poppy is said to have explained.

They continued to report that Poppy’s mother Linsay shared that Kate told them her three children “wished they were here tonight”.

With the oldest of the three, Prince George, being only eight, and Princess Charlotte being seven, it is unlikely that we will be seeing any of them at this kinds of event, which is a shame. This isn’t the first time an engagement Kate and William went to has sparked jealousy from their children, as it was reported that back in February the trio weren’t particularly pleased that their mother visited the LEGO Foundation PlayLab in Denmark without them.

We should be seeing the three Cambridge children alongside their parents in a few weeks, as they are expected to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
