The Royal Family

Harry And Meghan Share Powerful Quote In New Post

Prince Harry and Meghan are preparing to embark on their second official royal tour. This time they are visiting South Africa and baby Archie is joining them.  And what better way to do it than with a powerful quote by one of the country’s most influential figures.

On Monday evening, the couple posted on Instagram a quote from Nelson Mandela which promoted peace. The quote read: “It is so easy to break down and destroy. The heroes are those who make peace and build.”

Alongside the quote, they wrote: “Sharing a powerful quote to start the week. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a true leader, a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. Their post comes just one day after Harry opened up about his excitement at taking his wife and son to South Africa.

“In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,” he wrote on their joint Instagram. “Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you.”

“On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon,” he wrote on Sunday, signing the note “The Duke.”

Later the same day, the couple also revealed that they are starting the tour on 23 September.

Harry, Meghan and baby Archie will be travelling to South Africa as a family, while the Duke will be making solo visits to Malawi, Angola and Botswana.

Baby Archie will be one of the youngest royals to travel on an official trip overseas. He will be around 4 months old during the trip.
