Harry’s Perfect Gifts For George And Charlotte Revealed In New Biography

Even before Prince Harry was a father to baby Archie Harrison, he was already a doting uncle. And his close bond with his nephews and niece was disclosed in a new biography Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.

In the new book, published by the U.K. Times on Saturday, July 25, authors and royal experts Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, revealed that Prince Harry gifted nephew George an electric SUV and niece Charlotte a tricycle while he was still living at Kensington Palace in 2017.

According to the biography, Duchess Kate has also sent Duchess Meghan a bunch of flowers for her 37th birthday; after she wed Harry.

Prince Harry and Meghan are also uncle and aunt to Prince Louis. According to The Sun, Harry has bought little Louis the perfect gift for his christening. He paid a whooping £8,000 for the first edition of A.A. Milne’s Winnie-The-Pooh book.

Prince Harry came up with the gift because his “happiest childhood memories” were “being read a bedtime story by his mother”.

Harry has always had a child-like spirit that comes out and especially when he’s around children. During a rare interview, before Archie’s birth, Mike Tindall opened up about the Prince’s relationship with the little royals; including George, Charlotte and Louis.

He said: “He’ll be a great dad. Obviously, he’s godfather to Lena, but we’ve got a great group of young ones in the family now.”

He added: “Lena and obviously Louis are similar ages and Mia’s sort of in-between Charlotte and George, and then you’ve got Peter’s children Savannah and Isla who are just a little bit older. Harry, he’s busy, but he loves playing with them all and he’ll be a good dad.”
