Meghan Markle really did think of everything for her royal wedding to Prince Harry. It has been revealed that t’s now been revealed that she gave a very special gift to her new sister-in-law Kate.
Apparently, she gave a thoughtful gift to six of her closest friends. And among them was Duchess Kate.
People reveals that the bride had six gold bracelets specially made. The bracelet is designed by Zofia Day, and is named the Kensington Bracelet.
It features a subtle gold disc and fine chain, in keeping with the new royal’s penchant for minimal, understated jewellery.
The bracelet is now available to buy on the designer’s website, for $450.00.
Meghan also gave the same bracelets to Jessica Mulroney and Benita Litt. Their children were also the bride’s pageboys and bridesmaids.
Meghan has previously worn Zofia Day for her own official appearances. You may remember the triangular stud earring she wore for an engagement in Cardiff earlier in the year.
Kensington Palace confirmed before the wedding that Meghan chose not to include any of her close friends in her bridal party. “She has a very close-knit group of friends and did not want to choose one over the other,” said Jason Knauf, communications secretary to Prince Harry.
However, many of her friends and former co-stars were invited to the event.
It has been reported that Kate and Meghan are becoming close. Especially after Kate was allegedly helping the new addition to the family with her fashion choices.
“Kate’s not the sort of person to get offended if someone wears something she likes or one of her favourite designers,” a source told Vanity Fair. “Meghan asked her advice for formal wear and Kate told her where to go. They were also consulting each other on their clothes so that they complemented each other on engagements and didn’t clash.”
