Prince Charles Paid A Visit To The Sussexes To Finally Meet His Grandson

Prince Charles is going to Windsor to finally meet his fourth grandchild, baby Archie. The next in line for the throne carried out a day of engagements in London, including presenting Sir Andy Murray with his knighthood, and on Thursday evening he is expected to finally meet Archie and see how Harry and Meghan are coping as parents. We don’t know if Charles will be accompanied by his wife Camilla.

The meeting will take place at Frogmore Cottage which is located in the private Home Park. It comes to a couple of days after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met their nephew on Tuesday evening.

Prince Charles

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received quite a lot of visitors including the Queen and Prince Philip, and Lady Jane Fellowes, Princess Diana’s sister. The Queen and her husband were the first royals to meet the Sussex baby with the joyous occasion being shared with the public. A photo was shared on the Sussex Instagram account, showing the monarch cooing over her eighth great-grandchild. Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, was also there.

No doubt Prince Charles is a wonderful grandfather, and while his son William has said that he would love his dad to spend more time with his children, their bond is clear to see. His wife Camila has given an insight into Charles as a grandfather, saying: “He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making funny noises and laughing.”
