Prince William And Kate React To Eugenie Pregnancy Announcement
The royal family are thrilled and can’t wait to welcome their newest member after Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank announced that they are expecting. The royals immediately took to social media to show their support for the couple.
For example, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are proud parents to three wonderful children themselves, liked the post a couple of hours after the good news was shared on social media by the royal family and Princess Eugenie.
Prince Charles and Camilla also liked the post, which was posted at 9 am on Friday, as well as Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s husband, which she married earlier this year.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” the announcement on the official royal family Twitter page read.
“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”
Just a few moments later Princess Eugenie also took to social media, sharing two photos-one of her and Jack looking happy as ever, and another of a sweet pair of baby booties. The photos were followed by the caption: “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021…”
It seems that Princess Eugenie has managed to keep her pregnancy hidden well into her second trimester, deciding on what time would be best for the big reveal themselves. Unfortunately, Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t have that luxury. For all three pregnancies, Prince William and Kate had to announce the pregnancy earlier. Prince George came first in 2013, followed by Princess Charlotte in 2015 and finally, Prince Louis in 2018. This was due to Kate suffering from acute morning sickness, making it harder to keep it secret.
