Princess Charlotte has often been compared to her grandmother, the late Princess Diana, for her rebellious nature. She isn’t afraid to go after what she wants. And now, another detail confirms how much of Diana she has in her genes.
March 14 was Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom. To mark the special day, Prince William and Kate shared the adorable tributes that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis made for their late grandmother, Princess Diana.
Fans were pleasantly surprised and loved the cards. But, one detail, in Princess Charlotte’s card for grandma Diana, especially warmed hearts. The young Princess wrote her message to her late grandmother on light pink paper. She drew a heart with a rainbow design and surrounded it with small stickers including one of the ballerina mouse.
As fans already know, ballet was one of Diana’s great loves. As a child, she took ballet and tap lessons.
“She was very good and very musical,” Wayne Sleep has revealed in an interview with Vulture, recalling how Diana prepared for her on-stage appearance in 1985. “She had been taking dance classes somewhere off the Talgarth Road [in west London].”
Princess Charlotte follows in grandma’s footsteps. Kate has talked about how much her daughter loves dancing, and in December 2018, the two of them enjoyed a special mother-daughter outing. The Royals were seen at the Royal Opera House in central London where they attended a special viewing of The Nutcracker.
It has also been revealed that Princess Charlotte takes weekly ballet classes at a dance school in South London, People reports.
Prince William has spoken about his children’s love for dancing. In March 2018 he revealed, ” My daughter Charlotte loves dancing.” And in October 2018, at reception for teens at Kensington Palace, William said: “George is doing dancing as well. He loves it.”
