The royal cousins stole the show at the polo match on Wednesday.
The King Power Royal Charity Polo Day took place yesterday, and both Prince William and Prince Harry participated in the sporting event. While the brothers battled it out, their families cheered them on from the sidelines.
Royal fans couldn’t help but notice that Princess Charlotte is a bit of a natural when it comes to playing football. The little girl showed her older brother Prince George how it’s done as she kicks a football with him during their dad’s polo match.
Prince George also took a turn kicking the ball in the grass during the royal family day out.
Well it is possible she has been practising her skills with her dad William. Prince William has been the President of the FA (Football Association) since 2006. And as you already know, he is a great fan of Aston Villa football club.
William previously spoke about his choice of club to Gary Lineker. He revealed: “A long time ago, at school, I got into football big time. All my friends at school were either Man United or Chelsea fans. I wanted to have a team that was more mid-table that could give me more emotional rollercoaster moments.”
Kate and William have always said they want their children to be active with Kate saying that spending quality time with her family outdoors is one of her favourite pastimes.
When the couple attended the Wimbledon finals together last year, they caught up with their friend and fellow parent Novak Djokovic after he took home his fourth win in the championships.
Asking the royal couple how their children are, the two replied “very well”. “Trying to get a tennis racket in their hands,” Prince William revealed.
A passionate football fan, Prince William added, “And a football!”
