The Palace Released Stunning Photo Of Kate To Mark Her 39th Birthday
Happy 39th Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge! To mark her special day, Kensington Palace has released a stunning portrait of Kate on Saturday. The photo, shared on Twitter and Instagram, showed the mother-of-three elegant in a double-breasted Hobbs coat, a cream sweater, navy wide-legged pants, and Emmy London shoes. To keep safe, Kate added a blue floral face mask.
The caption reads: “Thank you for your kind wishes on The Duchess’ birthday.
“Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those working on the frontline at this hugely challenging time.”
The pic was taken when Kate and William traveled to Batley to visit the Batley Community Center, during their royal train tour.
The Duchess usually spends her birthday at Anmer and often with her parents. But as coronavirus cases in the U.K. surge, she won’t see them this year nor go out to celebrate. She is expected to celebrate her birthday quietly with her husband Prince William and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
A source told Vanity Fair: “Catherine isn’t one for lots of fuss or big parties—being with William and the children is her favorite way of spending her birthday.”
For her 37th birthday, a source revealed: “Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but George and Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the palace with candles and presents.”
Seconds after the photo for her 39th birthday was released, fans were quick to share their wishes.
One wrote: “Happy Birthday to our beloved Duchess of Cambridge!!We love her. May she have a beautiful day with her family!
Another fan wished: “Happy birthday to our wonderful Duchess of Cambridge! I wish you all the best because you deserve them! I hope you’ll have a lovely day with your adorable family and a great year and what a thoughtful message! You’re an amazing role model to me and millions of people”.
“Hope the Duchess will have a lovely day. Best wishes to The Duchess of Cambridge to continue her outstanding work,” a third added.
