On Tuesday evening, Prince William and Kate stepped out for a night out on the town. The couple attended performance of Dear Evan Hansen at Noel Coward Theatre in London.
Kate was glowing in a black Eponine dress and sparkly silver Jimmy Choo stilettos, while William donned a navy suit.
Although all eyes and cameras were on the couple, there was one sweet moment between them you probably missed. One photo from the event, shows William putting his arm around his wife as they enter the theatre.
Prince William and Kate rarely show affection in public. Still, there are rare occasions like this one when they William show PDA; whether is a hug, kiss on the cheek or even just putting a hand on the other’s back.
During the event, William and Kate chatted about the mental health theme with cast and crew members.
“Ten years ago, do you think this play would have been here?” William asked author Steven Levenson, according to People.
“I don’t think it would have even existed,” he replied.
In a note for the show’s program, the Prince said: “Catherine and I are delighted to join you this evening for a special charity performance of Dear Evan Hansen at the Noel Coward Theatre.”
“One of the issues that we care passionately about is mental health and we are pleased that Dear Evan Hansen is helping to start important conversations between parents and teenagers about this important subject.”
Following their date night, on Wednesday, William and Kate undertook separate engagements. The Duchess showed of her athletic skills as she attended a SportsAid event at the London Stadium. The Prince, meanwhile, visited The Beacon Project in Mansfield; a charitable organisation which gives support to people who are homeless in the area, providing a safe and clean place to visit, offering hot meals, clothes and toilet facilities.
Next week, On March 3, the couple is set to embark on a three-day trip to Ireland.
