The life of a royal involves a lot of moving around-be it for an event, an official engagement they have to attend or going on a royal tour-so you would reason that they would need their car snacks, just like the rest of us mere mortals. It has been revealed that the Duchess of Sussex likes to travel with Hilton natural mineral water in still and sparkling, while the Duchess of Cambridge loves to travel with a small Tupperware box to carry her snacks for when she gets peckish.
Hilton natural mineral water actually have an official royal warrant after supplying the royal household with water for several years. This particularly high standard brand of water comes from 50 years of natural filtration through the chalk hills of the Test Valley in Hampshire. Speaking about the royal warrant being awarded, the brand’s executive director Debbie Jones said: “The Warrant is a highly-prized seal of approval that is granted after an extremely rigorous audit process. This means a great deal to the whole team. Crucially, it is further proof that we have a robust environmental and sustainability policy, which is not only part of the criteria to hold the warrant, but also an important part of our core philosophy.”
Kate and Meghan aren’t the only members of the royal family that like to keep certain things in the car, as it is a well-known fact that the Queen always keeps a blanket ready for travelling, which can often be seen draped over her knees while travelling in her car. And it seems Kate has taken after from the Queen, as she was also recently seen using a cosy blue blanket when she travelled with her Majesty to Crathie Church for a service back in August, while dressed smartly in a Catherine Walker coatdress and hat.
