Why Fans Shouldn’t Expect To See Prince William And Kate This Week

The Prince and Princess of Wales have had a packed schedule in recent weeks, with the Commonwealth Day service earlier this month, Kate launching her Business Taskforce for Early Childhood, and Prince William and his visit to Poland.

The couple are expected to have a quieter couple of weeks so they can enjoy some quality family time with their three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

After the Duke of Sussex made surprise appearances at the High Court in his latest privacy case, having flown over to the UK from the States, a royal reunion between Prince Harry and his older brother, Prince William, is understood not to be on the cards.

Prince William and Kate are not currently in Windsor because of the children’s school Easter holidays from Lambrook.

The family-of-five typically spend the school holidays at their Norfolk abode, Anmer Hall, or have been known to travel. Last year, they were reportedly spotted enjoying a ski break in Courchevel, France.

While the royal family’s plans for Easter Sunday are still to be announced by the palace, they traditionally attend a church service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

In recent years, we’ve seen extended members of the family join the senior royals on Easter Sunday, including Mike and Zara Tindall, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Meanwhile, King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will attend the Royal Maundy Service at York Minster on Thursday 6 April, where His Majesty will distribute the Maundy Money.

During the Maundy Thursday event, Charles will present 74 men and 74 women – signifying the age of the monarch – with specially-minted silver coins to the value of 74p – to thank them for their service in local communities.
