The junior royals are finally getting a taste of summer. Prince George, Prince William and Kate’s oldest child, will finish with school this Friday, ending his second year of ‘big school’. Once he finishes with his final classes this week at Thomas’s Battersea and will not start school again until September. He has a lot to look forward to this summer break, as he will celebrate his sixth birthday on July 22, while the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge definitely have some activities planned for their children so they could have a fulfilled and fun summer break.
Princess Charlotte has also finished with school, with her attending the last day of the nursery on Wednesday. She will use this break to relax and prepare for September when she will be joining her big brother at school in September. She will go from Willcocks Nursery, having attended there since January 2018, to Thomas’s Battersea.
The Cambridge’s will most likely spend some time in Windsor this weekend, as a full family of five. Their parents are yet to officially start their summer vacation, so the three children may spend some time with their grandparents Carole and Michael Middleton in Berkshire. The only engagement that their parents have planned is an important family one, as they will attend the christening of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child, Archie Harrison, which will take place this Saturday at Windsor Castle.
Another upcoming family event is none other than Prince George’s sixth birthday, and we are sure that mom Kate and dad William will do everything they can for it to be a birthday to remember. It is expected for the milestone to be celebrated in private, with a low-key party for George with his friends and cousins at home. The Cambridge family are yet to reveal where they are going on holiday, or whether they are actually going abroad or not, as they might opt to stay at home and relax there.
