After a few busy weeks, Prince William and Kate will finally get a chance to spend some downtime with their three children. The couple doesn’t have any engagements scheduled for the next week. They are taking the week off from royal engagements, thanks to Prince George and Princess Charlotte half-term break.
Prince William and Kate don’t really reveal where they’ll be spending their well deserved time-off. However, there are a few likely options. Most likely, the family will be at their royal country home, Anmer Hall, on Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate. It was also their first residence before Prince William became a full-time working royal.
Last February, during the children’s break, it was reported that Kate took George and Charlotte to a luxury spa in Norfolk for some time at the pool.
An onlooker had revealed to DailyMail: “The children were very well behaved and both were practising their diving from the side.
“Kate was organising little races for them and they did it around four or five times.”
In 2016, Prince William and Kate have also taken George and Charlotte on skiing vacation around this time of the year. They released a series of photographs of their trip to the French Alps.
“This was their first holiday as a family of four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow. It was very special and fun short holiday for the family,” they shared.
This week has been quite busy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. First on Tuesday, they joined Prince Charles and Camilla for a visit to a military rehabilitation centre.
On Wednesday, Prince William, who is a Patron of the Metropolitan and City Police Orphans Fund, hosted a reception for bereaved families of police officers in London.
Meanwhile, Kate travelled to Northern Ireland and Scotland in support of her online survey; “5 Big Questions on the Under Fives.”
