Meghan’s Message To All The Single Ladies On Valentine’s Day
Meghan Markle revealed that she loves Valentine’s Day, no matter if she is single or taken at the moment.
The Duchess of Sussex loves Valentine’s Day. She once admitted that she’s a “Hook, line and sinker, I am such a sucker for Valentine’s Day “. Meghan has already found the man of her dreams, so this year she will have someone to spend it with just like the other lovebirds.
In her now shut down blog The Tig, Meghan talked about how she loved the day even though she wasn’t dating anyone, and even offered advice on how people should spend this special day. She didn’t forget the singles who are spending the day alone either, having a very important message for them.
She writes: “I think you need to cook that beautiful dinner even when it’s just you, wear your favourite outfit, buy yourself some flowers, and celebrate the self-love that often gets muddled when we focus on what we don’t have,” Meghan wrote.
“So whether you have a special someone, you’ll be with friends, or you’ll be flying solo this Valentine’s Day (or any other day for that matter), be good to yourself.
“Love yourself, treat yourself, honour yourself and celebrate you. Be your own beautiful, darling, cherished and funny Valentine. You deserve it.”
One thing she emphasized is that she doesn’t wait for men to buy her Valentine’s Day presents.
She wrote: “I’m not going to wait for someone to buy me the things I covet (nor do I want to).
“I want to treat myself as well as I treat those dearest to me. Because I am my own funny Valentine.”
She also talked about how she used to spend her Valentine’s Days, such as going for cocktails in New York’s West Village.
