Nacho Figueras made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he talked and defended Prince Harry and Meghan.

An announcement from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has just been released, in which they make public their decision to take legal action on a number of newspaper outlets. This move has caused lots of their famous friends to speak out in support of the royal couple.

One of their friends, Nacho Figueras, a person who has played polo alongside Harry for years, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about the royal couple. He talked about how Meghan “gave up everything ” to be with Harry, describing her as “an incredible girl”. He said that the Duchess “gave up all the things she had to marry this man she loves.” “Nobody knows all of the very hard things that go with that. I love them so much! They’re good people,” he said.

He shared a clip from his interview on Instagram, along with the caption: “Thank you my friend @theellenshow for opening the conversation on why love should be the answer when we talk about people that work so hard to make the world a better place. I will defend my friends @sussexroyal with my life because they are making a difference and we should all be supporting and helping instead of attacking. Let’s be kind to one another.”

He got lots of positive feedback from his followers for this, with one writing: “You are a true brother and friend to Harry. Thanks for always speaking up about this wonderful couple.” Another wrote: “Well done to use this platform to support this wonderful couple.” A third added: “Thank you for being a loyal friend.”

While the royal couple were on a royal tour of South Africa, Harry released a lengthy statement on his and Meghan’s official website, Sussex Royal, where he explained in detail their decision to take legal action against a Sunday newspaper for publishing Meghan’s private letters.

Nacho Figueras drew parallels between all the publicity that Meghan has been getting to that of his late mother, Princess Diana, finishing his message by thanking the fans for the support. “We thank you, the public, for your continued support. It is hugely appreciated. Although it may not seem like it, we really need it,” he wrote.

The next time we will get to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be on October 15th when they will attend the annual WellChild Awards in London. It is one of the most important nights of the year, with the next WellChild Awards promising to be another inspiring event filled with tears and triumph as it celebrates children who have defied incredible health odds to succeed.

Harry is a patron of the organization and a regular at the event, which this year will take place at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel. The charity, whose goal is to care for seriously ill children, was one of the four causes that Harry and Meghan choose to get donations from people instead of sending gifts for their newborn son Archie.
