Duchess Kate Celebrates Special Occasion Ahead Of Start of School

There are only a handful of days left of the summer holiday, nonetheless, the Cambridge family are set on spending the time they have before returning to school in the best ways possible. This Monday, Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Duchess Kate, is celebrating her 38 birthday, and seeing how close the two are, it is very likely that they will spend time together celebrating the special day-especially now that they are closer than ever location wise.

Only recently did Kate and William, along with their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, return to Kensington Palace, while her younger sibling lives only a short distance away in Chelsea. She lives in a wonderful six-bedroom house that reportedly costs around £17million, with her husband James Matthews and their two children, Arthur, who is two, and baby Grace.

The ‘modest’ house has five floors, with a gym, a lift, a room for staff and even an underground cinema included in it.

With only a few days left before school starts, we are sure that Kate and her family would like to use the time they have the best they can. Both Prince George and Princess will be returning to Thomas’s Battersea school, located in southwest London, with George starting Year 4, while Charlotte will be starting Year 2.

The youngest, Prince Louis, will continue going to Willcocks Nursery School, where he started going back in April this year.

The Cambridge family have spent a big chunk of their summer outdoors, a passion that both William and Kate share, as well as Kate’s sister Pippa, a clear result of the way the two were raised.

Back in 2019, when Kate was guest-starring on Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, she said: “As children, we spent a lot of time outside, and it’s something I’m really passionate about.

“I think it’s so great for physical and mental wellbeing and laying foundations. It’s such a great environment to spend time in, building those quality relationships without the distractions of ‘I’ve got to cook’ and ‘I’ve got to do this.’ And actually, it’s so simple.”

And Pippa has also talked about it as well. In a recent interview with running shoe brand Hoka One One, she revealed: “Being such an active family has rubbed off on my son, he loves nothing more than running wild in the woods, parks and fields with our two dogs, even if it’s howling a gale and pouring with rain.”
