The Royal Family

George And Charlotte Have Been To Work With Grandma Carole Middleton

We’ve seen the mini royals spending time with their gan gan, the Queen on several royal engagements. However, we still don’t know much about their relationship with their other grandmother, Carole Middleton.

Rebecca English, royal correspondent for the Daily Mail, recently reported that the mini royals have been to work with their grandma Carole.

The proud grandmother, who runs the events company Party Pieces, has had George and Charlotte come over to play “shopkeepers” at the office Duchess Kate’s mom keeps near her Berkshire home.

One time, a visitor spotted George sitting in front of the house as Carole treated him to some candy.

“One visitor spotted George sitting in the ‘front of house,’ exclaiming excitedly ‘Oh my gosh!’ as his indulgent granny gave him a bag of sweets for being a good boy,” writes English.

It seems Carole is a fan of spoiling the grandbabies.

“Kate understands only too well that it is a grandparent’s prerogative to spoil their grandchildren — and still laughs about how she once called home from a foreign tour to speak to her mother, who was looking after George, only for him to tell her earnestly that his granny had given him ‘chips, again’ for dinner.”

The royal siblings are very close with their grandparents, Carole and Michael. The Middleton family, are said to be in Mustique  on their annual Caribbean getaway. Prince George celebrated his fifth birthday there alongside his parents, siblings, aunt and uncle and grandparents.

George and Charlotte also recently celebrated a milestone with their grandfather Prince Charles and his wife Camilla. The doting grandpa hosted baby Louis’s christening party at Clarence house. All the Middletons attended the party as well.

Kate’s parents also hosted baby George after his birth in 2013. William and Kate had moved into their Bucklebury estate just two days after welcoming their first child.

There, Kate’s dad snapped their first family portrait ever. It is the one in the grass alongside their dog Lupo.
